If a survivor would like to obtain the status and location of their sexual assault evidence collection kit (SAECK), they can use Track-Kit. Track-Kit is a comprehensive, statewide, web-based tracking system for SAECKs. The system is mobile-friendly, anonymous, confidential, and free of charge to users. The information needed to access Track-Kit is the barcode or account username for the collected kit and a password for the account. The account information is given to the survivor when the collected kit is entered into the system. Track-Kit provides information on both the SAECK and the toxicology kit. The kits will have different numbers; however only one login is needed to access both portions of the kit.
After entering this information, Track-Kit allows the survivor to see the status and location of the kit from the point of collection to its final storage location.
Track-Kit is a useful way to check in on the status and location of the SAECK. Track-Kit will not provide analysis or results from a kit.

The goal of Track-Kit is to enable survivors to readily track the status and location of their sexual assault evidence collection kit. This is a collaborative effort to support survivors and meet their needs while ensuring confidentiality. To access Track-Kit, visit ma.track-kit.us.
